iMovie Tutorial: How to cut Audio/Video on iMovie

Step 1. Insert the specified Audio or Video into iMovie.

Step 2. Bring the slider to where you want to split the Audio or Video at. 

Step 3. Click with two fingers simultaneously (or right-click if 3rd party mouse) and then go to Split Clip. 

Step 4. Repeat if you want to do it between.

Step 5. At the part that you want to cut out, Click with two fingers simultaneously (or right-click if 3rd party mouse) and then go to Delete to delete the undesired part.
