Mac Tutorial: How to make a Screen Recording by Danny Aguero There are 2 methods of doing this. 1 is by using QuickTime Player, and 1 is by using the Screenshot app. Method 1: QuickTime Player Step 1: Open up the QuickTime Player application. Step 2: When it asks you to choose a video, press the red button and the window will close. !!!IMPORTANT!!! Remember to NOT press anything else, as then the application will close. We only want the window to close. Step 3: Go to File at the top bar, and then press New Screen Recording. If you want to record just your voice or yourself, you can choose the other options. Step 4. (optional) On the left you can choose to record either a selected portion of the screen or the entire screen. There is also many different settings in the Options tab. Step 5. iMovie Tutorial: How to cut Audio/Video on iMovie Step 1. Insert the specified Audio or Video into iMovie. Step 2. Bring the slider to where you want to split the Audio or Video at. Step 3. Click with two fingers simultaneously (or right-click if 3rd party mouse) and then go to Split Clip. Step 4. Repeat if you want to do it between. Step 5.
